Villa Lagom was built in the historic Klis. Once the home of Croatian kings, today it is an elite neighbourhood with villas and a beautiful panoramic view of Split. This is a rural destination that guarantees a quiet gateway just a few steps from the Mediterranean capital, Split.
The villa embodies the Swedish concept of “lagom”, which is based on moderation and balance, and which inspired the name.
Lagom means “just the right amount”, not too much, not too little. It is an idea that rejects perfectionism and emphasizes the importance of finding joy in simplicity and the moment.
The design of Villa Lagom reflects that idea through minimalism, natural materials and carefully designed rooms that invite you to relax and live mindfully. Our goal was to create a space fostering a harmonious and responsible lifestyle, in harmony with nature and one’s self.
The design of the Villa balances modern elements with minimalism, and the natural materials such as cotton, linen and wood used mean that every detail is well thought-through.
The Villa features three spacious bedrooms with private bathrooms, decorated using natural materials, and organic linens. A peach fuzz kitchen with a wine bar and an island connects the dining room with the living room, from which, comfortably reclining in a double-sided sofa, you can enjoy a panoramic view of Split. The details in this space are perfectly complemented by the cement tables.
The villa has a wellness zone with an organic Finnish sauna and comfortable futon furniture of the Danish brand, which is inspired by Japanese style; a gym with a poker table; an outdoor area with a heated pool; and a lounge zone and an outdoor kitchen that are the perfect place to enjoy meals while soaking in the view of the sunset.
